Rez Bay Kayaking: The kayak day begins at 8am at the Kayak Adventures Worldwide office in downtown Seward. Exploring more of the coastline gives you a greater opportunity for wildlife viewing and further travel away from Seward into Alaska’s great wilderness.
You will paddle the western coastline of Resurrection Bay with the option of entering Tonsina Creek if the tide permits. Stopping at Waterfall Beach to stretch your legs, an incredible 80-foot waterfall is only a 5-minute walk away. The paddle continues to Caines Head for lunch and hot drinks.
If time allows you can hike a bit on Caines Head’s great trails through the rain forest. Afterwards you’ll paddle back to Lowell Point for a 4pm pickup.
Ice Hiking: The Ice Hike is our signature tour at Exit Glacier Guides and is a full day of hiking and playing in the mountains outside of Seward. Duration:
The Kayaking day lasts roughly 8 hours and the Ice Hiking lasts about 5 hours
Departure Time:
The Kayaking Trip leaves at 8am and the Ice Hiking trip has two departures daily at 9am or 12pm
