Hey there! My name is Allie and I am originally from the land of 10,000 lakes and continuous flat lands, Minnesota! I grew up spending my winters, icefishing and snowboarding, and summers on my bike riding through the forests around my home and swimming in the lakes. But after spending sometime in the terrain of New Zealand and exploring the mountains of the Wyoming Wind River range I have fallen in love with high peaks and the great sights that come with them. I moved to Lander, Wyoming where I studied Outdoor Education and Leadership and discovered a whole new way to procrastinate: rock climbing! From there I took a NOLS course in the PNW where I took my climbing a bit more alpine in the Northern Cascades. Most recently I've been living and working in the UAE in the Middle East and have been getting a taste for how rugged, crumbly desert mountains can be. Now that I have been surrounded by beige for nearly seven months, I am beyond stoked to see the stark contrast of nature and greenery in Alaska! I'm looking froward to having some epic adventures this summer and seeing some amazing glacial views. Alaskan alpine here I come, let's get shwifty!
