My name is Erin Phillips and am incredibly excited to be joining with Exit Glacier Guides this summer! Exploring glaciers in the true Alaskan wilderness is a dream come true! I grew up in Maryland and studied Biology in college, but it wasn’t until post-graduation that I began to explore the western United States and found myself falling in love with the outdoors.

I first came to Alaska two years ago when a friend told me about working in tourism on the Alaska Railroad. I fell in love with the place and knew I had to find a way to get back. Since that summer I’ve worked in wilderness therapy backpacking in the southern deserts of Utah, have done a solo trek among the Himalayas in Nepal, and can be found climbing, running, or getting into whatever hobby I can to maximize my time outside. Photography has become my way to capture the beautiful places and experiences that life has led me to since then. In addition to guiding, I cannot wait to be capturing these once-in-a-lifetime trips on camera for Exit Glacier Guides, and for you and all of our clients!  So excited to see you this summer!
